RoyaltyZone recognizes that license agreement terms, financial results, and royalty data are extremely sensitive and confidential. Security, reliability, and the protection of our customer data is top priority at RoyaltyZone.

Data Encryption

All information traveling between your browser and RoyaltyZone is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption (the same level of encryption used by leading financial institutions). The lock icon displayed in your browser verifies that you aren’t talking to a phishing site impersonating RoyaltyZone, and that your data is secure in transit.

Physical Security

Our state-of-the-art servers are protected by biometric locks and round-the-clock interior and exterior surveillance monitoring. Only authorized personnel have access to the data center. 24/7/365 onsite staff provides additional protection against unauthorized entry and security breaches.

Application Security

RoyaltyZone users can control exactly who is permitted to access to their data. Licensors can choose from a variety of access roles for internal users, and choose whether to permit access for each of their Licensees. When granted access, Licensees only see the data published to them by the Licensor, and are never able to see any other Licensee’s agreements or financial data.

Data Backup

All customer data is backed up every three hours and stored offsite at a second data center location via Amazon Web Services.
